“这里没有旅程 而是心路历程——God.com”

“来自天堂的明信片”，这是意大利艺术家Jai Datt对自己作品的概括，这些色彩强烈，感觉奔放，肌理效果显著的抽象油画，纪录了Jai Datt在印度潜心创作20多年的心路历程。此次在三尚艺术·上海空间的个展是Jai Datt全世界范围内的第一次展览。

Jai Datt被印度深邃的文化——人类文明的根——所吸引，他的作品就是他精神修炼的艺术表现，表达着一种内省的力量，就如他在印度感觉到的：有一种力量使自己沉静、充实，并把这种力量推广出去，使周围的人都感到光明。他曾经是很成功的时尚摄影师，每年去印度两次，做一些慈善工作，已经有27年。这次展出的40余幅作品是从他在这27年里创作的作品中精心挑选出来的。

开幕时间Jai Datt将他自己编辑制作的音乐——赋予三尚空间日本式的静寂和印度的神秘感——和惊艳的DV作品呈现给观众，在农历八月十六的月圆日子，请大家一起到三尚有着苏州河风景的酒吧一起赏月观画交友聊天。

1943 年，Jai Datt出生于意大利特伦托市，并于1968年毕业于米兰法学专业，一年之后他在米兰成立了摄影工作室，此后的十几年他作为知名的摄影师和商业导演活跃于意大利，德国，英国，美国，西班牙的时尚和音乐制作产业， 1978年在纽约在一次50天的断食之后开始了绘画生涯，他的绘画是他的思想和心灵之间的一种沟通方式以及他的心灵转变过程的记录和再现，换言之，他的绘画过程是一个通往精神明灯的旅程，这盏灯帮助他去探索，发现那个藏在物质幻想背后的真正的自我，

1984年Jai Datt初遇他的精神导师，从此开始了新的人生，他放弃了所谓的名利，曾经的辉煌和成功渐渐远离，这27年来，他的工作渐渐从为了满足自我需求转化为服务更多的人类，这是一个漫长艰苦的净化心灵的过程。这是27年来第一次向世人公开他的作品，他的艺术表达方式被称为“TANTRA ART”, 是反映人的内在心灵转变过程的表现形式，是一种有别于其他商业绘画的融灵魂与绘画中的艺术，艺术家希望借此形势与观者进行纯粹的精神沟通，同时也帮助自己 远离幻想，接近真实的自我和真正的快乐和 美丽，并且在任何危险的情况下保持一份坦然，和内心的宁静。他的目标是帮助更多的人从物质层面上升到精神层面，从而得到真正的心灵自由。尤其现在的中国，过去的20多年，经济的快速发展让我们的物质迅速膨胀，而人们的心灵却正经历着灾难和浩劫，我们全然不知，或者知道但无法阻止或脱离， 人人忙着满足自我的各种欲望，欲望的驱使之下我们的得到的又是什么呢？人与人的不信任，痛苦，嫉妒……艺术家这20多年在印度修行的经历今天以绘画的形势展现在我们眼前，他用他的绘画语言告诉我们心灵的力量的强大，只要你愿意， 在真相，简朴，和爱的指引之下，我们每个人都能最终触及我们心中的快乐伊甸园。

Jai Datt

Born near Trento, Italy, in 1943 graduated in law in 1968. In '68 he established his first photo studio in Milan, working for portraits, fashion, and advertising and as commercials director in Italy, Germany, England, Spain, and USA. After a deep crisis, in '75, back from a troubled journey to Asia, survived from sure death, he decided to undertake a different life starting his inner journey.
In '78, during a long fasting period in New York, he began painting as a form of communication between mind and soul. A long trip from darkness to Light. Light is to discover that knowledge on who you are makes one free, the real oneself beyond illusions. and art is a way.
In '84 he met his spiritual master and a new time started. Since then he gave up the wealth and achievement in his business as a photographer. And undertake a different life. The life of fulfill oneself’s desire has been transformed to the life of serving humanity. This is a long and difficult process of purify his heart and soul. For the first time he shows his works after keeping secret for 27years.
His art is called Tantra Art, Tantra Art is something pure for deep spiritual growth of both the artist and spectator. Its goal is the process of transformation of matter into spirit. The solitude of the endonauta's difficult tantrip is sustained by his Spirit, in some way an invisible Virgil, through a kind of communication expression: Art. It is also a way to inform and to remember. To help me to trust and to be always happy to have in my self such a treasure of beauty and love. And to feel safe and protected always and in every situation of danger.
Over the past decade in China, with growth and expansion of Chinese economy, people’s living standard has been uplifted dramaticly particly in the big cities, nevertherless, it has been a corresponding growth of pepople’s desire for materiality , such growth has never been stronger than ever before, but we rarely really notice that our hearts become disaster and is in such a crisis , or we noticed, but we cannot stop. What we are doing is mostly for fulfilling our own desire in every aspect, but in the end, what do we get? Are we happy? What we gaining are more doubts, illusion, jealousy, than happiness, trust and peace. The artist ‘s over 25 years experience in India is now presented in front of us through these paintings, he would like to tell us that he believe everyone of us can reach a new consiousness of beauty and happiness if you are really willing to transform yourself in Truth, Simplicity and Love.

Artists are the front line troops of Spirit moving into Matter to transform it. Warriors of Light, they have the duty to root out the enemy by the weapons of beauty, love, harmony, spreading faith, positivity and strength, preparing a new consciousness. Tantra means inner transformation. Changing form to become one with one's Self.
Tantra art is the root of art, a kind of visual support given by the forces of transformation to the artist who decides to start his inner path, not being inspired by money, success, and ego. Tantra art is something pure for a deep spiritual growth of both the artist and of he spectator. Its goal is the process of transformation of matter into spirit. Art as reunion. art as devotion, art as service, art as spiritual journey, art as self knowledge, art as therapy for soul and body, art as ID process, art as way to liberation, art as consciousness, art as way to know and to remember who you are, art as communication with your self and other peoples self, art as treasure map, art as yoga, art as ritual, art as linking system, art as stears, art as discover who you really are, art as inner silence, art as growth, art as introspection, art as journey to Eldorado in you, art as victory on your enemies, art as final freedom, art as reflecting universal beauty. Artist is a mirror. The more is clean the more he is reflecting god beauty. Therefore art is one of a fastest climbing process. Beauty and trout they marry together to give light to artist and to humanity. Thise is the goddess I follow and worship for all my life in photos, films, music, publishing and paintings.
